Michael Giblin, the Founder and Managing Director of MG Marine Services Limited, qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and worked at a leading London law firm (Sinclair Roche & Temperley) until 1992. Here, he specialised in FD&D, P&I and shipbuilding disputes as well as marine insurance, international sale of goods and insolvency matters.
From 1992 to 1999, Michael worked at Tindall Riley & Co. (managers of the Britannia P&I and Defence Clubs), becoming an Associate Director at Britannia from 1996. He was involved in the day to day running of the Defence Club with particular emphasis on the Far East and was also involved with P&I claims for English, European and Scandinavian members with particular emphasis on liner services.
MG Marine Services Limited was founded in 1999, specialising in all aspects of trade and shipping law in order to provide practical and cost-effective solutions to shipping disputes.
